![]() At one point while playing it I tried to get a broken door fixed so I could get through, and after bouncing back and forth between various repair departments I eventually learned there was a final form I needed to fill out, and that form happened to be on the other side of the broken door. This thing isn't even close.Friend Computer inspects the remains of a traitorous citizen. But the only yuk it provided for me was, "Eww, yuck." This computer version seems to have been designed by Day of the Tentacle adventure fans, with mildly-amusing-to-outright-cringy lines uttered by the usual assortment of zany characters attempting to provide the yuks. You are always damned if you do, damned if you don't, every step of the way. The humor in the original derived from your being an innocent, earnest worker forced to navigate a hilariously absurd environment where any move can mean instant death. ![]() I watched a YouTube playthrough of the first half-hour or so, and what stuck out to me was how completely the writers missed the tone-even the very point-of the original.
